\"Kimbery

Here\’s a little information about Kimberly:

What is your job, title and organization?

I am the Director of Career Services, Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio since 2007.

What is your primary responsibility on your job?
I manage the overall department including staffing and budgeting.  I also provide career counseling and job coaching to over 1,300 students.

Why did you take the CDF Training with the LDW Group?
I attended the CDF training with the LDW Group as I liked the fact that it was local and that most of the coursework could be completed online.  My peers from another university spoke highly of Linda as their trainer too!  Linda made the class fun and has high energy.

What did you like most about the CDF training?
I enjoyed the time spent practicing our helping skills (I refer back to SOLER often) at our face-to-face meeting.

What would you like most for people to know about you?
I changed careers from human resources in the private sector to higher education and the GCDF certification has helped make the transition successfully, while building my confidence working in the career development field.  I really like working with clients in the college setting and have met many supportive and collaborative career development colleagues at other institutions.
