That\’s right! On December 9, 2016 at 5:00 pm, Linda D. Woodard became Dr. Linda D. Woodard. I earned my Ed.D. in Community College Leadership (CCLP) from the National American University\’s Roueche Graduate Center.
I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and graduate the three-year program on time. I was honored to have been a John Roueche Scholar. In a cohort of 29 graduate students, three of us completed the program within the three-year requirement. My fellow classmates were close behind with many of them completing the program in the spring of 2017.
How did I celebrate???? Glad you asked. The day after my defense, I hopped a plane to Puerto, Vallarta Mexico for some sun and relaxation!
I am still at Florida State College at Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida serving as the Associate Vice President of Workforce Education and Economic Development.
All I can say now is WHAT\’S NEXT!!!
